The Journey Begins

College Experience:
Being in compliance with the curriculum and expectations of the state of Florida, it is the desire of the program to promote the exploration of both traditional and non-traditional career pathways. There is an expectation that program participants will exit the middle grades with a better understanding of the career path they should pursue and the requirements to successfully obtain their career goals.
The end of the year College Experience that participants and coordinators embark on, is a culmination of the efforts of the college and career exploration that is implemented during the school year.
In years past, College Experiences have taken place in Atlanta, Georgia; New York, New York; Orlando, Florida; Tallahassee, Florida; and Washington, D.C. In the near future, D.I.V.A.S. coordinators would like to tour more colleges and universities nationally and internationally.
